Listed below are the different levels of sponsorship for the Rice Festival. Please take a moment of your time to look over these opportunities. The Bay City Rice Festival is a tremendous community event. Individuals, service organizations, public and private entities have joined to help create an annual experience that attracts visitors from surrounding communities.
The Rice Festival is the major fundraising event for the Bay City Lions Club. Last year the club was able to donate over $30,000 to local organizations and charities and make a $10,000 dollar donation to the Texas Lions Camp for Children in Kerrville Texas.
Each year, our club pays for over one hundred eye exams and purchases eyeglasses for underprivileged children referred by Bay City, Tidehaven, Matagorda, and Van Vleck ISDs. In addition, our club has awarded over $12,000 in college scholarships each year for students.
